Jesus prophesied the advent of human development when those who followed and applied His teachings  would sit with Him on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. The meaning of this mystical reference, what and where the twelve thrones are, and what attainment is necessary in following Jesus on one's path toward renewal is more fully explained in the text book The Twelve Powers of Man by Charles Fillmore. The concept of the twelve faculties represented in Scripture is difficult for a beginner in the study of metaphysical Christianity to understand for it deals with forces that function below and above the field of the conscious mind. Those who are not acquainted with metaphysical concepts are not accustomed think in terms concerning the subconscious mind the superconscious.

These pages serve only as an introduction and reminder of the deeper mystical aspects surrounding the twelve faculties or powers that lie within every individual. These faculties may be called upon and developed as a fuller expression of the individual. Taken collectively and fully developed, they constitute the throne of "The Son of Man", The Christ within.

As a learning aid the twelve buttons at the top of this page associate a color and a month of the year with each of the twelve powers. Each power or faculty is also represented by a corresponding Disciple of Christ. The color and disciple associations on these pages are a helpful study aid for use with the book The Twelve Powers of Man by Charles Fillmore.
